The day my spiritual awakening began.
I had just been celebrated as the top sales employee in my district. So why did I feel so empty?
If you’ve ever felt a yearning for more meaning in your life during the most “successful” seasons of your life but didn’t know why, you’re not alone.
That’s where I found myself in the fall of 2016 (I can’t believe it’s been 10 years), while obtaining my public notary certification, with questions that catalyzed my spiritual awakening.
I waited in line and observed the staff working at their cubicles behind the counter.
I reflected on how accomplished I felt the night before, at a corporate dinner award event where the company I worked for recognized me as the top sales employee of the district, among colleagues from other locations.
But as I stood there, I couldn’t help but notice something stirring up inside me.
It started as a feeling I couldn’t put my finger on. The more aware I became of it, the stronger and clearer it became.
It revealed itself as a profound void and hunger for more, deep in my core and chest.
The success I had achieved began to lose its meaning and almost felt untrue to who I was as a person.
As I watched the employees behind the counter, I saw myself getting older like them. Pressing computer buttons, with an almost lifeless soul spark.
So I asked God, “Is this it? Isn’t there more?”
I wanted to feel more fulfilled. I wanted to contribute to the collective.
After completing my errand, I began walking back to my car.
I walked down almost the exact same path I had taken up to the building. But a car came, and it made me walk a little further down.
That’s where I saw it. A little card on the ground, very clean and neat, like it had just been dropped. If it had been there a while, it would have been dirty, or a car would have run over it.
I picked it up. On one side was an image of a figure dressed in flowing white, arms open wide, gazing upward into the light. The Creator of all things. God.
When I turned it over, it read:
“My belief is that everyone has a birthright to succeed. I give you My Word. I will not let you down.”
I began to cry uncontrollably.
The message was so profound. It was as if I was being told, “Okay, you asked for more, and I shall give. I give you My Word.”
A message from the Creator itself, in response and reassurance of what was yet to come.
I still have that card today, and I get chills just remembering it.
That day is when I can say the shedding of my old self and true alignment with my New Earth me began to take form.
Seen from the outside (even to me), it may have looked and felt like my life was falling apart, and in a sense, it did.
I lost my job, and that affected everything else.
I lost my apartment in DC. I moved back to New Jersey with my family and went back to waitressing. I had to start over financially.
Then I had my very first car accident, followed by two more within six months.
But now I know that true unfolding was happening all around. From me, for me, as me…
I began to detach from material things. I began nurturing my raw beauty. I let go of friendships, people, and situations that no longer aligned.
I began to seek spiritual self-exploration and meditate more.
This path led me to my spiritual life coach, master healer, and breathwork practitioner certifications, and to the soul family I have today.
The rest is the dance of my soul in this beautiful journey. All the twists and turns that have led me to spiritual self-exploration, my healing path, and to who I am today.
I seek what resonates and ignites my soul through genuine soul connection, while encouraging and cultivating UNITY.
I want to help others find the truth and alignment that ignites theirs. Living a life of fulfillment and truth, and the genuine self-expression of their authentic essence.
